Originally from Busan, Minha Kim is an award-winning director based in London. Her graduation film from the National Film & Television School, SEA CHILD, has been screened and won at well over 50 film festivals across the globe including Palm Springs, Rhode Island, Edinburgh International Film Festivals and AFI FEST. The film was invited as the part of Emerging Female Voices at Toronto International Film Festival in 2016. Her most recent short film, A PERFECT TURN, was supported by BFI Network and Film London, and won Best Cinematography Award at the Film London showcase in 2018. 

Her feature film, DEER MOTHER, is in development with Film4 and Escape Plan Productions (Saint Maud).


Her Korean language feature film set in South Korea, MITE KILLER, is in development with Nowhere (Come to Daddy, Nine Days).
