Originally from Busan, Minha Kim is a screenwriter and director based in London. Her graduation film from the National Film & Television School, SEA CHILD, has won and been selected at well over 50 film festivals across the globe and was invited to Toronto International Film Festival in 2016. Her next short film A PERFECT TURN was funded by BFI Network and Film London and won Best Cinematography Award at the BFI for the Film London showcase in 2018. 

 

She is currently in post production with FOR FOX SAKE, a short film funded by FILM4 and WePresent. She is also developing a feature film, DEER MOTHER, with FILM4 and a Korean language feature film set in South Korea, MITE KILLER, with Nowhere (Come to Daddy, Nine Days).
